Lakshmi Sugar Mills Co is planning to set up a distillery in Iqbalpur village in Roorkee Taluk in Haridwar district in Uttarakhand. The project involves setting up of 40 klpd molasses based distillery in the existing sugar complex to produce rectified spirit, extra neutral alcohol. It also involves setting up of a 2.0 MW cogeneration power plant. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 839 million.
