Beta Infratech (Soma Enterprises Ltd) is setting up a 225 MW gas based Combined Cycle Power Plant at Nandnagar Industrial Estate Phase-II at village Mahuakheraganj, in Kashipur Tehsil, in Udhamsinghnagar District , in Uttarakhand. Land requirement will be about 30 Acres, which is in Nandnagar Industrial Estate Phase-II. Fuel requirement will be 1.17 MMSCMD natural gas which is to be met by GAIL, IOC and purchase from spot gas. Air cooled condenser will be installed. Water requirement will be 864m3/day, which will be obtained from ground water. Permission for ground water drawl from Central ground Water Authority has been obtained vide letter No. 21-4(45) CWGA/UR/2010-2581 dated 22.11.2010
